Furthermore, Shamrocks hold a very deep meaning for the Irish community, as it is thought that it was used as a teaching tool by Saint Patrick. Historians believe that Saint Patrick used the three leaf shamrock to describe the holy trinity to the Irish people when he arrived in Ireland to preach Christianity. The three leaves represented the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
